Andrew Galvin

Andrew joined the Javelin team in March 2024. As the Chief Financial Officer at Javelin Venture Partners, Andrew is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting, compliance, IT and overall back office operations of the investment funds and management company. He is also involved with investor relations, portfolio management and other internal initiatives.

Before joining Javelin, Andrew was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Propel VC, an SEC-registered investment advisor focused on Venture Capital and Fund of Fund investments into companies relevant to the financial services industry. Prior to that, Andrew worked as a Senior Manager at Standish Management providing fund administration services to some of the world’s top venture capital firms. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers working in the investment management tax group and then spent some time in the hedge fund industry in tax and as a Controller at firms like Farallon Capital, Valiant Capital and Theorem LP. He is a CPA (inactive) and earned his B.S. in Accounting from Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo.
